Introduction
These Services(as defined below) are run by Fashnear Technologies Private Limited and its affiliates (Company, We, Us, and Our) under the brand name “Valmo”. We respect your privacy and are committed to protect it by complying with this policy (Privacy Policy). The Privacy Policy applies to the use or access of Valmo’s website “valmo.in”, mobile application, any offline business run under the brand name of Valmo and any of the platforms/tools developed by us from time to time (together referred to as Services). The Privacy Policy is a legally binding document and constitutes an integral part of the agreements / terms and conditions of use between the Company and its merchants and users/customers
We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand the company's policies and practices regarding your information. By accessing or using the Services in any way, including for the purpose of registering an account with the company, or by attempting to use the Services, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and consent to the company's collection, use, storage, disclosure and retention of your information as described herein.
What kind of Information do we collect?
We may collect from you two kinds of information:

- Non-personal Information
Personal Information
Personal Information refers to information collected from you that can be used to uniquely identify or contact you and includes your sensitive personal information.
This will include but not be limited to, your:
- Name;
- Email address;
- Address (including country and ZIP/postal code);
- Gender;
- Age;
- Phone Number;
- Password chosen by you to access the platform;
- Geographical location;
- KYC documents
- Your profile picture (if any) that will be publicly displayed as part of your account profile. You may optionally provide us with this information through third-party sign-in services such as Facebook and Google. In such cases, We fetch and store whatever information is made available to us by you through these sign-in services.
- Financial account information like bank account details, GST certificate, PAN Card, etc. and transactional information in relation to transactions where the Company is involved;
- Any of the aforesaid information pertaining to your customer/buyer which is shared by you with the Company in the course of using the Services; and
- All other personally identifiable information/details as you may share from time to time (including personally identifiable information/details of your customer/buyer).
If you provide us any personal information belonging to another individual/entity/person (Data Owner ), it will be your responsibility to ensure that you are authorised to share such personal information with the company and that such data owner is informed about this Privacy Policy. You reserve the right to not share any personal information that we may request from you, but please note that your use and access of the Services or any of its features and/or capabilities may be impacted where such personal information requested from you is required to provide you such Services.
We may receive personal information about you from third parties, such as social media services, commercially available sources and business partners. If you access our website through social media service or connect a service on website to a social media service, the information we collect may include your username associated with that social media service, any information or content the social media service has the right to share with us, such as your profile picture, email address or friends list, and any information you have made public in connection with that social media service. When you access the website through social media services or when you connect the website to social media services, you are authorizing us to collect, store, use and retain such information and content in accordance with this privacy policy.
Non- Personal Information
Non-Personal Information’ refers to information that cannot be used to identify you.
- Your preferences: Your preferences and settings such as time zone and language
- Your content: Information you provide through our Services, including your reviews, photographs, comments, lists, followers, favourite categories, special requests and other information you provide on our Services, and other information in your account profile.
- Your searches and other activities: The search terms you have looked up and results you selected.
- Your browsing information: How long you used our Services and which features you used; the ads you clicked on.
- Your communications: Communications between you and others using our Services.
- Your public posts: You also may provide information (such as ratings, reviews, tips, photos, comments, likes, bookmarks, friends, lists, etc.) to be published or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on publicly accessible areas of our Services or transmitted to other users of our Services or third parties (hereinafter collectively referred to as “User Contributions”). Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of our Services with whom you may choose to share your user contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your user contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. - We may automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices) you use to access the Services, and about your use of the Services, even if you use the Services without registering or logging in.
- Usage information: Details of your use of the Services, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through our Services.
- Computer and device information: Information about your computer, internet connection and mobile device, including your IP address, operating systems, platforms, browser type, other browsing information (connection, speed, connection type etc.), device type, device's unique device identifier, mobile network information and the device's telephone number.
- Stored information and files: Our Services may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your mobile device. This may include, for example, photographs, audio and video clips, personal contacts and address book information.
- Location information: Our applications collect real-time information about the location of your device, as permitted by you.
- Last URL visited: The URL of the last web page you visited before visiting our websites.
- Mobile device IDs: Unique mobile device identifier (e.g. IDFA, GAID or other device IDs on Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad), if you're using our services on a mobile device, we may use mobile device IDs (the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer), instead of cookies, to recognize you. We may do this to store your preferences and track your use of our applications. Unlike cookies, mobile device IDs cannot be deleted. Advertising companies may use device IDs to track your use of our applications, track the number of advertisements displayed, measure advertising performance and display advertisements that are more relevant to you. Analytics companies may use mobile device IDs to track your usage of our applications.
- Your activity related to the Services: Information about your activity in relation to Services such as your search queries, comments, domain names, search results selected, number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, how long you used our Services, the date and time you used the Services on, error logs, and other similar information.
- Your participation in a survey, poll, sweepstakes, contest or promotion scheme;
- Your request for certain features (e.g., newsletters, updates or other products);
- Your communication with us about employment opportunities posted to the services.
We may also receive and/or hold information about your browsing history including the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the site that you visited prior to using the Services as well as the Internet Protocol (IP) address of each user's computer (or the proxy server a user used to access the World Wide Web), user's computer operating system and type of web browser the user is using as well as the name of user's Internet Service Provider (ISP). The Services may use temporary cookies to store certain data (that is not sensitive personal data or information) that is used by us for the technical administration of the Services, research and development, and for user administration.
Collection of Information
We may collect this information either (i) directly from you when you provide it to us; (ii) automatically as you navigate through our services (information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses and information collected through cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies); and/or (iii) from any other source of information including from other third party sources, such as updated delivery and address information from our carriers, which we use to correct our records and deliver your next purchase more easily.
In addition to the above: a) We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; and b) We may in future include other optional requests for information from you including through surveys to help us customize our Services to deliver personalized information to you and for other purposes as mentioned herein. Any such additional information will also be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Purpose
By providing your information, you consent to the company’s right of collection, sharing, storage, disclosure and usage of the information shared by you in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The information, which we collect may be utilized for various business and/or regulatory purposes including but not limited for the following purposes:

- To process your registration for utilising the Services;
- To onboard you as a user of our Services;
- To process your orders/requests and provide any other service or request raised by you in relation to the Services;

- For improving our existing capability, features, and functions provided while using the Services or to improve your experience while using our Services;

- For the purposes of research, analysis, business intelligence, reporting and improvement/development/advancement of the company’s business, and/or any Services provided;
- To comply with legal and regulatory regulations, including customs and GST requirements. For example, KYC details in some cases are legally required for identity verification;
- To respond to legal, judicial, quasi-judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law;
- Investigating, enforcing, resolving disputes and applying our company policies, including Privacy Policy, either ourselves or through third party service providers;

- To check your eligibility for certain products/services including but not limited to credit and payment products and provide access to the services being offered by us, our affiliates, banks, financial institutions or our lending partners;
- To fulfill any of the above in relation to your customers or users;
- Any other purpose that may be necessary to provide the services that you have opted for.
We may use and disclose Non-Personal Information (defined above) for any purpose in accordance with applicable laws.
Sharing of the information
We may disclose Personal Information that we collect, or you provide, as described in this Privacy Policy, in the following ways:
General Information Disclosures
- To our holding companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, which are entities under common ownership or control of the company.
- The company may also make all your Personal Information accessible to its employees and data processors/vendors/ any other third party only on a need-to-know basis and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. The company takes adequate steps to ensure that all the employees and data processors/third party vendors, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of your information, respect its confidentiality.
- To contractors, advertisers/service providers, credit information agencies, analytics and research partners, other banks or financial institutions, insurers or intermediaries and other third parties whom we use to support our Services (e.g. logistics and delivery, to collect payments), or to improve your experience while using our Services and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of the company's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by the company about the users of our services are among the assets transferred.
- To third parties to market their products or services to you which we feel may be of interest or beneficial to you. We contractually require these third parties to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

Service Providers
We may share your information with outside vendors that we use for a variety of purposes, such as to send you communications via emails, messages or tele-call to inform you about the services and/or products that may be of interest to you, push notifications to your mobile device on our behalf, provide voice recognition services, to process your spoken queries and questions, to help us analyze use of our services, process and collect payments, help us diversify the payment processing and collection methods available, and offer you special offers and services where available. Some of our products, services and databases are hosted by third party hosting services providers. We also may use vendors for other projects, such as conducting surveys, organizing contests, advertising, marketing and advertisement measuring purposes. We may share information about you with these vendors only to enable them to perform their services.
Credit Analysis
You hereby authorize and expressly consent for us to share your personal information with third parties, which may include Credit Information Companies ("CIC") to do an aggregate check of your credit profile for trying to make a wider variety of payment options available for you, some of which options may depend on the result of your credit analysis. Your credit score and/or credit information report (together “Credit Information”) will be obtained on your behalf, through a 'soft enquiry’ from the relevant CIC and we have no control over the content or accuracy of information provided in your Credit Information by CIC. We get this information from CICs for and on your behalf only when you agree to appoint us as your lawfully appointed authorized agent/representative for collecting your Credit Information from CICs. By consenting to use and avail your credit information report through us, you agree that we and the CICs shall be entitled to rely on your authorization and consent granted by you to us. You also consent to the sharing of your credit information with third parties by the CIC or us, for the purpose of checking your eligibility to avail of additional payment options and/or any other special offers.
Legal Purposes
We may share your information when we believe in good faith that such sharing is reasonably necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities or to comply with legal process. We may also share your information to investigate and address threats or potential threats to the physical safety of any person, to investigate and address violations of this Privacy Policy or to investigate and address violations of the rights of third parties and/or to protect the rights, property and safety of the company, our employees, users, or the public. This may involve the sharing of your information with law enforcement, government agencies, courts, and/or other organizations on account of legal requests such as subpoena, court order or government demand to comply with the law.
Social Networks
If you interact with social media features on our services, such as the Facebook Like button, or use your social media credentials to log-in or post content, these features may collect information about your use of the services, as well as post information about your activities on the social media service. Your interactions with social media companies are governed by their privacy policies.
Service Protection
If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the company, our users or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction of the company, our users, our service providers, our payment processing partners etc.
Enforcement
To enforce any company’s rules, terms and conditions, policies which are related to the Services.
Consent
We may share your information in any other circumstances where we have your consent.
Links to Third-Party
The links to third-party advertisements, third party websites or any third-party electronic communication services (referred to as “Third Party Links”) may be provided on the website or any related tool or application which are operated by third parties and are not controlled by, or affiliated to, or associated with the company, unless expressly specified by us. If you access any such Third-Party Links, we request you to review the concerned website’s privacy policy. We shall not be responsible for the policies or practices of such third parties.
Anonymous or de-identified data
We may anonymize and/or de-identify information collected from you through the services or via other means, including via the use of third-party web analytic tools as described below. As a result, our use and disclosure of aggregated and/or de-identified information is not restricted by this Privacy Policy, and it may be used and disclosed to others without limitation.
Data Retention
You can close your account by sending an email request to support@valmo.in. You may request for deletion of personal information by raising a request with the Grievance Officer as per the provisions of Section 14 of this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to retain your Personal Information in accordance with applicable laws, for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law. We may continue to retain information about you thereafter for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by law for purposes such as for audit, accounting, contractual, technical and legal requirements, for security purposes, and/or to resolve any future disputes. Thereafter, we will either delete your Personal Information or de-identify it so that it is anonymous and not attributed to your identity. We may archive information to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Servicesor to comply with legal obligations. We may also continue to retain your data in anonymised form for analytical and research purposes.
Cookies
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers with a small amount of data that is stored on the user’s device hard-drive containing information about the user, commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. We may offer certain features only through ‘cookies’ and may also collect information about you using these cookies. Please note, a cookie in no way gives the company access to your device. If we receive instructions using your username and password, we will consider that you have authorized the instructions for such use.
Use of the Services
You agree while using the Services, you shall not upload, modify, publish, transmit update or share any information which: a) belongs to another person and over which you have no right; b) is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion or caste with the intent to incite violence; c) is harmful to child; d) infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights; e) deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates any misinformation or information which is patently false and untrue or misleading in nature; f) impersonates another person; g) threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence, or prevents investigation of any offence, or is insulting other nation; h) contains software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; i) violates any law for the time being in force.
Anonymous or de-identified data
We may anonymize and/or de-identify information collected from you through the Services or via other means, including via the use of third-party web analytic tools as described below. As a result, our use and disclosure of aggregated and/or de-identified information is not restricted by this Privacy Policy, and it may be used and disclosed to others without limitation.
Permissible Age
The Services provided are not intended for users under the age of 18 (Eighteen), unless permitted under applicable local laws (Permissible Age). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users or market to or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18 and use of our services is available only to persons who can form a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
If you are under the age of 18 years then you must use the services under the supervision of your parent, or legal guardian. If we become aware that a person submitting Personal Information is under the age of 18 years, we will delete the account and any related information as soon as possible.
Job Applicants
If your information is submitted to us when applying for a position with the company, the information will be used to consider your application. We may retain your information for any period of time. This information may be shared with other companies for the purpose of evaluating your qualifications for the particular position or other available positions, as well as with third-party service providers retained by us to collect, maintain and analyze candidate submissions for job postings.
Your Consent
By accessing or using the Services by providing your information, you consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure and otherwise processing of your information (including sensitive personal information) in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you disclose to us any Personal Information relating to other people, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You, while providing your Personal Information in relation to Services provided by us or any partner platforms or establishments, consent to us (including our other corporate entities, affiliates, lending partners, CIC’s, technology partners, marketing channels, business partners and other third parties) to contact you through SMS, instant messaging apps, call and/or e-mail for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy.
You may request for deletion of its personal information by raising a request with the Grievance Officer as mentioned under this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to retain your personal information in accordance with applicable laws, for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law. We may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by law. Thereafter, we will either delete your personal information or de-identify it so that it is anonymous and not attributed to your identity. We may archive information to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service or to comply with legal obligations. We may also continue to retain your data in anonymised form for analytical and research purposes.
In case you wish to update or correct your Personal Information or withdraw consent in relation to Personal Information previously shared, you may exercise these rights by emailing the company at legalsupport@meesho.com and communicate the change(s) for updating the company’s records.
In case you do not provide your information or consent for usage of Personal Information or request for its deletion, the Company reserves the right to discontinue, in part or full, the Services/associated features and benefits provided by the Services for which the said information was sought
Changes to this Privacy Policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. However, you are advised to review this page/policy periodically for any changes. Your continued usage of the Services shall constitute your acceptance of the amended/updated Privacy Policy
